1961 Ferrari 250GT SWB Speciale




The 250GT introduced in 1954 was Enzo Ferrari's first true production series. It was ordered with a special alloy Pininfarina body in the style of the 400 Super America. and has a short wheel base. The car is a full factory competition version and while it is extremely fast it was never raced.

The three-liter V12 engine has a single overhead camshaft for each cylinder bank and was was equipped with three twin-choke Weber carburetors. It was rated at 280 horsepower and was coupled to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
